The Blue Morpho butterfly is one of the most iconic species of the Amazon rainforest. Its vivid, iridescent blue wings are not created by pigment, but by microscopic structures that reflect light, a powerful reminder that nature’s brilliance often lies beneath the surface. Native to the forests of Latin America, including Peru, the Blue Morpho symbolises transformation, regeneration and the interconnectedness of ecosystems.
